Born out of necessity for quality legal services assisting our aging population in the Riverbend region and surrounding communities, Ozark Law Firm, LLC was formed in 2021 by managing member Walter C. Ozark.  Ozark Law Firm, LLC focuses primarily on Asset Protection and Elder Law while being dedicated to utilizing a client-centered approach.

Walter C. Ozark was born in Alton, Illinois, and is a 1994 graduate from Alton High School. Mr. Ozark received dual B.S. degrees in Philosophy and Psychology from Manchester College in Indiana in 1998.  Walter then enjoyed a 10-year career as a probation officer for Madison County Probation and Court Services. He then returned to school and received his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2012. Prior to founding Ozark Law Firm, LLC, Walter practiced for several years at the Law Office of Richard W. Gibson/Common Sense Elder Law/Southern Illinois Elder Law.

Walter currently resides in Alton, Illinois with his wife Sarah and their three children, Jane, Eliza and Lincoln.  He is also the proud parent and grandparent of his adult daughter, Morgan and her son, Holden.
